Nat, freaky guy

 Writing about my character named Nat, I’ve recently changed his design aLOT, and im not really sure its the same characater, but he used to be a cute scrunkly and fun mad scientist with pastel green hair, big goggles and naked tail

I had taken inspiration from a cute art print that was gifted to me which had a girl or some person with funky glasses and green hair on it, i will possibly reuse this design for something else but i decided to put Nat into the same realm as my other characters Mr. Pocket, Taron and many others in their extraterrestrial fantasy world that has gotten a bit more darker and creepy in nature as i grow older and find more interests , or rather firgue out ways to make things how i wanna. 

Before this drastic change I imagined Nat to be some clusmy and naive intern student with big dreams of working at the biggest space jail, to work with patients of course, and not make explosives in their huge lab or gawk at the cool outer space jail mates, nuuhh uh.

This is a sketch i have done up of Nat’s new appearance, his lower body is not shown here but his hips are replaced with a large metal gear like build with multiple legs coming from it. he prefers to click his teeth and whistle instead of speaking and when he does speak its very broken sounding and slow. his face is ghostly pale with visible gums and an bandage covering his eyeholes, what appears to be worn out leather covering up his mechanical torso is actually his skin as he used to be more lively.

He has four arms and six spider like legs made of metal, and all kinds of cords and wires coming and connecting here and there, it’s hard to even tell that he was once mostly flesh, as he was first made as a homunculus (some random egg and human dna) by what he would call his father. He was one of the successful creations that grew past creator’s expection but instead of killing the creature his father treated it like its own, if probing it with needles and doing horrible tests on it is what he calls fatherly, NAt has never experienced any normal comforting care in his entire existence and struggles weekly with his own lonely existence.

He is an reclused outcast that keeps to himself, as he knows everyone in Somewhere and has acknowledged that they dont like his existence nor his disturbing appearance, ( too his odd behavior and fixations on very strange things) yet if theres a new face he would want to give his greetings, especially if they’re unique looking, then he might want to lure them to his lab to do an very normal doctor routine check up. Just ignore the jars of assorted body parts and that collection of rusty tools. 

He is located in a magical place called Somewhere, the place where everything has once been. Nat often lingers near the darker halls of Horatio Hocus’s workplace, his lab actually being quite hard to find being hidden by how much stuff there is. I might talk more about Horatio Hocus and  Somewhere another time but for now this is the end of my post!
